Confirmation and preparation for equipment

1. Heating and hot air temperature can be set and automatically controlled.
2. The exhaust air volume matches the hot air volume to ensure the negative pressure in the coating pan is around 50Pa.
3. The rotational speed of the main engine can be set and adjusted.
4. The air delivery of mist and pressure can control steadily(pressure maintaining value) to ensure the mist pressure can at least reach 0.4MPa.
5. Delivery peristaltic pump of coating slurry can control and regulate slurry flow.

The compound slurry of film coating

1. The compound required coating power.
   Mark: The parameters of compound coating and dynamiting are according to different product characteristics and combined with coating materials. The solid contents of the coating material are around 17% and increase by around 3.5% after coating.
2. According to the coating material instructions and the ratio of powder and solvent, weigh the corresponding amount of solvent coating powder.
3. Pour the solvent into the slurry preparation bucket, stir, and slowly add the spare coating powder. Stir all coating powder and solvent to mix and disperse well. Coating powder should be added along the stirring vortex at a uniform speed and slowly. The adding process is usually finished in 5 minutes. It will affect the dissolution effect if added for a long time. Keep stirring after adding material, but it can decrease the stirring speed. It can avoid excess air with a controlled stirring speed. The preparation of water-soluble coating powder is easy to produce bubbles in the process of stirring. After stirring for 45 minutes, it can be left standing for a short time and used after the foam disappears.
4. The mixing speed of the coating solution can be slowed down during the whole coating spraying process, but the mixture should not be stopped to ensure a smooth follow-up operation.

Film coating operation

1. In the process of slurry mixing, the equipment can be adjusted and confirmed that they are in good condition and performance.
2. Add the gum to be coated into the coating pan(Make sure the exhaust is started and the main engine is stopped before this process)
3. After adding the gums, turn on the hot air(should set hot air temperature), control the speed of the main engine to 2 to 3 revolutions per minute, and preheat the core properly.
4. The coating operation can be started after the mixing time of slurry preparation reaches 45 minutes.
5. Adjust the distance between the spray gun and the sheet bed to about 35cm, and aim the spray at the upper third of the sheet bed
6. Turn on the atomizing air first (ensure the atomizing pressure is high enough), turn on the peristaltic pump, properly control the slurry flow rate and adjust from small to large to ensure that the gum does not stick to others. First, coating for about 30 minutes with a small flow and low rotation speed (as they have poor abrasion resistance, they need to adjust to low speed). Then increase the speed and spray flow after seeing a thin layer on the surface of the tablet core (all processes must pay attention to the wind temperature or the temperature of the gum and avoid sticking). Water-soluble film coating should keep the temperature at 42 ℃ + 2 ℃ in the coating process until the coating slurry is completely sprayed.
7. After the slurry is sprayed, reduce the speed properly and dry for about 5 to 10 minutes, then stop the hot air and reduce the speed until the gum temperature drops to room temperature. Then they can be taken out of the machine and cleaned the equipment.
