We manufacture gum bases in many different shapes and forms depending on the climate and machinery requirements of the customer. The shape or form of the base can also affect the softening point and texture of the gum and the end products.
Which shape is the best for you?
Block: This is the most standard shape and is supported by factories and machinery worldwide. It is easy to store, package, and ship. However, in cold countries, you may need to heat it before adding it to the machine.
Sheet: Certain machines prefer this shape as it allows very efficient production, but its storage is more delicate as you must ensure that the sheets do not stick together, especially in hot climates.
Granule: The most efficient form of gum base for the production process and preferred by many machines. But it is the most costly and delicate to store as the granules can stick together at high temperatures.
Powder: Not suitable for most factories but is required by some specialized machines and special end products. Storage and manipulation are delicate as the powder can "cake" easily.
