There are many gum candy recipes, and all those recipes must be adapted to different countries and tastes. The raw materials are subject to local laws and regulations, and the gum candy you produce depends on the machinery you possess. So, the challenge is to get the right raw materials, the right ingredients, and the right machinery to produce your gum candy recipe. What are the basic principles of Gum Candy Recipes?

According to the taste and flavor requirements of the end products, you need to consider the correct gum base composition and the flavoring ingredients used.
The gum base percentage in a recipe should be calculated according to the weight of a single gum block. According to recent research, the ideal weight of a gum block, the removal of carbohydrates, should be about 1 gram; it’s the optimal weight for continuous and comfortable chewing and blowing.
The percentage of liquid glucose used in the recipe will depend on the amount of water and sugar in the gum candy.
